Maintaining open communications between public officials, landowners, communities, and other interested parties is vital to the success of Oncor transmission line projects. Here are a few ways to get involved:
Attend Oncor public meetings. During the identification and evaluation of potential project routes, we hold public meetings to explain the process and learn more about the area and residents and stakeholders that could be affected. Oncor also sets up a dedicated information line so interested parties can speak with an Oncor representative.
Review state options. When Oncor files an application for approval of a project with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT), the commission offers several ways to participate in the process. Check these links on the PUCT website to learn more.
