REGISTRATION
Registration may be required to access and/or use some portions of the Website, the Oncor Apps, the Content of the Website and of the Oncor Apps and/or to receive certain Services via the Website or the Oncor Apps. To the extent it is necessary that you register with the Website or an Oncor App (“Registration”), you agree to ensure that the Information, including, without limitation, your name, address, phone number (landline and mobile), and e-mail address, in your Registration is always current, complete and accurate. You are solely responsible for maintaining and updating the Information in your Registration information.
You may also be asked to select a user name or other user identification (each, a “User Name”) and a password (the “Password”). There may be specific requirements or conditions on the selection of the User Name and Password. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any Information that you disclose publicly in the context of using the Website, the Oncor Apps, and/or the Content or the Services made available by or through the Website and/or the Oncor Apps. We may offer service delivery information and updates, account support, technical assistance and other services through various Oncor customer service points of contact by direct communication through the Website, the Oncor Apps, email, voice (landline and mobile), text messages, chat, or any other form or means of communication. Whenever you communicate with such customer service points of contact, you agree that your Information in your user account may be viewed, used and changed to provide assistance to you.
SUBMISSIONS
We may also give you the opportunity to communicate questions, comments, suggestions, feedback, testimonials, stories, photographs or other images, videos, remarks, reviews, statements or other materials of any kind (each, a “Submission”) by direct communication through the Website, the Oncor Apps, email, voice (landline and mobile), text messages, chat, or any other form or means of communication. You agree that we can use, share, and disclose any and all of the Submissions made by or through the Website as set forth in the Website Terms and Conditions, and, to the extent such Submissions are made by or through an Oncor App, as set forth in such Oncor App’s terms of use. You agree that any such Submissions and part thereof will not be subject to this Privacy Policy; provided, however, if and to the extent that you expressly state in a Submission that all or a part of it is confidential, we may use, share, and disclose any and all of the Submission as set forth in the Website Terms and Conditions and/or the Oncor App’s terms of use, as applicable, but will not disclose publicly any of your Personally Identifiable Information in connection with such Submission and shall treat your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you agree that we may disclose you as the source of any of your Submissions internally and among the operator(s) of the Website or the Oncor Apps or if we are required to do so by law or governmental or court order or to enforce any of our rights related to or in connection with the Submission.

Some portions of the Website, the Oncor Apps, the Content and the Services may contain “cookies,” clear gifs (also known as web beacons or web bugs), or similar technology. LOCATION DATA
Location-enabled Content or Services that you may access by or through the Website and/or the Oncor Apps, as well as certain third party functionality made available by us by or through the Website and/or the Oncor Apps, use various technologies to determine precise or approximate location data from your device. We collect and use location data to help tailor Content and Services to you and improve the usability of the Website and Oncor Apps. You may be able to manage the collection of your device’s location data through your device’s settings and by responding to notifications regarding the enablement of location-related services for your device. In some cases, the information collected may identify individual users in combination with previously provided Personally Identifiable Information, for purposes of our internal use.
If you are an Oncor employee or contractor engaged by Oncor who accesses and uses an Oncor App in the course and scope of your performance of electricity delivery and related services for and within Oncor’s electricity transmission and distribution system, with respect to the location-enabled Content, Services and, to the extent applicable, third party functionality available by and through such Oncor App, you understand that such Oncor App collects information about your device’s location to aid in the delivery of electricity and related services to Oncor’s customers, including by identifying your device’s location and proximity to work sites and logistical ability to respond to service calls, by providing you Content and Services tailored to your scope of work and by using such location data for analytic and diagnostic purposes.
We recognize the sensitivity of Personally Identifiable Information concerning children under the age of 13 and therefore provide this special notice. We are committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding children, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). The Website and the Oncor App are not directed at children under the age of 13, and except in limited circumstances allowed by COPPA, we will not knowingly collect, maintain, or disclose any Personally Identifiable Information from a child under the age of 13 without first obtaining consent from that child's parent or legal guardian.
We encourage parents and guardians to spend time online with their children to become familiar with the types of Content and Services available on our Website and the Internet generally. We use Personally Identifiable Information about you to deliver Content and Services that you request, to keep you informed about changes affecting our Services or your account, to inform you of products, Services or offers that may be of interest to you, and to improve and enhance the Website, the Oncor Apps and the Content and the Services. In order to operate the Website and the Oncor Apps or deliver the Content or Services, we may also share your Personally Identifiable Information with our service partners under protective conditions. If you provide us with Personally Identifiable Information, we will take all reasonable and appropriate steps to protect it from unauthorized disclosure.
By providing to us by or through the Website and/or the Oncor Apps your contact information for a corresponding means of communication (which means of communication may include one or more of e-mail, voice (residential landline and mobile), text message, and/or any other means of communication), or by electing through the Website and/or in the Oncor Apps to receive notifications and communications from us via such other forms of communication, you represent that you are the authorized, customary user or subscriber of the e-mail account, residential landline and mobile phone number that you provide us and you agree that we may send communications about us, our services and programs, and your account as well as notifications, alerts, updates, and specific responses to your inquiries to you through such means of communication until you affirmatively opt-out of receiving such communications by notifying us in such manner and form as provided by us or alternatively, by notifying us by email sent to contactcenter@oncor.com or by calling 1.888.313.6862. If you choose to opt-out of communications by voice or text to a mobile phone number that you provided to us, please be aware that such opt-out will extend to non-emergency messages via both voice and text to that mobile phone number unless you indicate otherwise. Following an opt-out request sent via text message, we may send you one text message to the mobile phone number involved for purposes of clarifying and confirming the scope of your opt-out communication. Oncor reserves the right to continue to communicate with you using contact information that you have provided or later provide to us, to the extent allowed or required by applicable law, including to contact you regarding Oncor’s delivery of services and support to you or any matters that might affect such delivery and support or to contact you in emergency situations. If you agree to communicate with us through your residential landline phone number and/or mobile phone number, you also agree that we may send you communications to the identified residential landline phone number and/or mobile phone number, even if you change the carrier or service provider of your phone or mobile communication services, until you affirmatively opt out as stated above. You further agree to promptly notify us of any changes to your contact information, including any changes to the e-mail address, residential landline phone number and mobile phone number you have provided to us.
You agree and consent to the disclosure to, and use by, a subsequent owner or operator of the Website, any of the Oncor Apps, the Content or the Services, of any Information about you contained in our database, if we or one of our operators assigns its rights and obligations regarding any of your Information at the time of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our or its assets related to the Website, any of the Oncor Apps, the Content or the Services to a subsequent owner or operator.
