LOAD MANAGEMENT

YOU CHOOSE SAVINGS YOUR WAY

WHAT IS THE LOAD MANAGEMENT PROGRAM?

Oncor pays incentives to participating service providers who work with commercial customers to offset on-peak demand. The summer On-peak demand period falls between 1 pm to 7 pm Central Standard Time(CST), Monday through Friday, June through September, excluding weekends and federal holidays. Winter Emergency on-peak demand is between 6 am to 10 am and 6 pm to 10 pm CST and operates 24 hours a day from December through February.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED, WE WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU QUALIFY.

LOAD MANAGEMENT PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS:

Your business facility must be located in Oncor’s service area and receive electricity from an Oncor meter. Examples of eligible facilities include restaurants, retail stores, healthcare facilities, warehouses, and office buildings.
Each project must achieve a total demand savings of 100 kW or more during on-peak demand periods. Current loads will be determined before program participation. Oncor verifies demand reductions (data collected by Interval Data Recorders) before paying incentives.
