What do I Need for My Submission?
Prior to submitting your idea, please confirm that it meets our requirements:
- Must be market-ready and targeted to the Texas market.
- Must have an energy-efficiency component, such as reducing energy use or demand.
- Energy savings estimate and audience segment are not required but could help to round out a submission.
- Your submission must be legally your own or you must be submitting on behalf of a company/organization that legally own the concept.
- All sections of the submission form are required.
- If you have an idea for a technology that is not yet market ready, email us at energyefficiency@oncor.com to be considered in a separate evaluation process.

What Happens Next?
Thank you for your submission! Please check your email for submission confirmation. Upon receipt of your submission, Oncor will review your responses and attachment(s) prior to getting in touch with you, within 4 to 6 weeks. Selected submissions will move to the next step of the evaluation process which will include idea presentation by submitter. This will depend on the submission and how you can work with Oncor to best deliver the solution.
