Additional personnel are joining Oncor crews and contractors to assist in clearing vegetation, reconstructing heavily damaged equipment and restoring power to approximately 150,000 remaining customers.

More than 2,500 utility workers supporting the effort include personnel from Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Mutual assistance partnerships provide vital resources in times of need. When bad weather or natural disasters cause widespread power outages in a city, state or region, members either receive or send help based on the affected community’s necessities.
