Imagine choosing to spend four years working in the hull of a ship or living in a tent in a sweltering combat zone -- all because you felt a call to serve your country. For most veterans, that’s the case.

Oncor is proud to employ nearly 300 men and women who served in the U.S. armed forces. For this Veterans Day, Nov. 11, we talked to three of them about their military service.

  •  Rachel Bryen is a Distribution Systems Supervisor in Fort Worth, Texas. She served six years in the Navy, much of that aboard the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier.
  • Maxwell Angwenyi is an Account Manager Senior in Midland, Texas. After eight years in the Air Force, he continues to serve in the Air Force Reserve.
  •  James “J.D.” Senger is our Information Security Officer in Dallas. He served on active duty in the Air Force for 20 years.
