"Hispanic Heritage Month is a time of remembrance for me," said New Construction Supervisor Raquel DiMaria.

"Born in Mexico but raised in the U.S. since preschool has given me the opportunity to fulfill my parents' and my American dream," said Raquel. "I now get to teach my daughter about Mexico and its culture, from Obleas to Frida Kahlo."

At Oncor, many of our employees have unique backgrounds with ties to different countries. For Hispanic Heritage Month, we acknowledge their contributions to our Company.

The month-long celebration is a time to recognize the cultures, contributions and histories of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central & South America.

As the celebratory month comes to an end, we're looking back and recognizing our Hispanic and Latino employees' work to help deliver energy to millions of Texans during such critical times.

Employees like DiMaria oversee that new projects meet success. After DiMaria ensures a new project is successful, Meter Technicians like Fabio Chavez verify the meters' accuracy for the projects.

Likewise, employees such as Protection and Control Technician Maria Arredondo & Diagnostic Tester Carlos Chalambaga help maintain our electric grid's integrity during the hottest summer months, so businesses and homes may receive safe energy year-round.

And if any mishaps occur along the way, Distribution Operations Technicians like Jorge Rincon are there to assist.

The One Oncor Spirit shines strong during this celebratory month and every other month that recognizes and celebrates our diverse workforce.
