Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their impact in U.S. history.

At Oncor, Black History Month is a time to recognize the contributions of current and past African-American employees.

This year during February, we’re profiling one retired and three current employees who are part of the Oncor family. We’ll be posting a new story and video each week that highlights these individuals.

-       Cameron Young, pictured above, is a Crew Supervisor in Tyler, Texas. He currently serves on the Oncor Diversity and Inclusion Council. Read more about him here.

-       Monica Knight is a Rotational Manager in Dallas. She believes diversity helps Oncor have a better understanding of the people we serve. Read more about her here.

-       Craig Robicheaux is a Manager, Design in Fort Worth, Texas. An electrical engineer, Craig's heroes include black inventor Lewis Latimer and his mother. Read more about him here.

-       Brenda Jackson is a retired Chief Customer Officer in Dallas. She started as a Home Service Advisor in 1973 and was one of first African American women hired at the company. Read more about her here.
