Oncor and Studio Movie Grill Promote Energy Savings with “Turn Up and Head Out” Campaign

Oncor and Studio Movie Grill have established a new opportunity where Texans may save money at the theater and potentially, conserve and reduce energy costs at home, even in the heat of summer.

 

“Turn Up and Head Out” is a summer-long campaign to encourage Texans to turn up their thermostats a few degrees before leaving the house. This allows your HVAC to rest when the home is empty and potentially bring your energy costs down.

 

The heat of Texas summer months can lead to high amounts of electricity use, which may mean a greater impact on residential energy bills. Energy efficiency can help reduce energy demand and usage, which may ultimately result in customer savings.

 

Oncor provides discounts and energy conservation resources at Take A Load Off Texas.com.

Now, Studio Movie Grill is offering visitors to the Oncor site the ability to claim discounted movie tickets to Studio Movie Grill all summer long.

To access the discount, visit the Take a Load Off Texas home page. Once there, click on the promotion banner near the top of the page and claim your discount code to receive $8 movie tickets. The discount is available for all films on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays after 5 p.m. through the end of the summer.
