Qualifying Process for Critical Care Consumers

An annual renewal will be conducted by the Oncor distribution services group to review the existing condition of the commercial & indistrial (C&I) or public consumer each year.

The following criteria will be used to review the existing condition of the commercial & industrial (C/I) or public consumer each year.

1. C/I Consumer - A critical load consumer is one for whom an interruption or suspension of service will create a dangerous or life threatening condition on the consumers premises.
2. Public Consumer - Service to consumers for which electric service is considered crucial for the protection and maintenance of public safety.
