We Appreciate Our Competitive Retailers

Recently, Oncor held customer appreciation dinners for all Competitive Retailers. The dinners took place in Dallas and Houston, on November 29 and December 6, 2005. Almost 70 individuals representing 25 Competitive Retailers attended the events. Currently, Oncor has agreements with 98 Competitive Retailers with 68 actively switching customers in our service area.

The dinners were held in order to thank the retailers for their business and to show appreciation for the opportunity to be their delivery service company. In addition, the event allowed Oncor to discuss with retailers ways in which to improve the business and industry. While the Competitive Retailer Relations group has held annual workshops in the past, this is the first year that these appreciation and networking dinners have been held.

"Our Competitive Retailer Managers communicate with the retailers on a daily basis," Mike Murphy explained. "However, it was nice to visit with them face-to-face and express our appreciation for their support and ideas."
